A homologação está diretamente relacionada com a forma de comunicação com a impressora, sendo ela via rede (cabo, wi-fi) ou USB. A lista também mostra se tal dispositivo não é compatível ou não foi testado.

My printer is not on the list or is listed as untested

The approval process differs depending on how it is installed:

 

Via network (cable, wi-fi)

The homologation process is a procedure carried out only by our support team and takes around 20 minutes. This procedure requires remote access to the environment with the non-approved printer connected to the network. During the approval process, tests are carried out on prints in various formats (A4, A3, black and white, color, scanning) to identify the iteration of the counters, so we ask that someone be near the printer for any assistance.

USB

Printers connected via USB are more practical to get approved. All that's needed is for the printer to be turned on and connected to the computer, and for it to be searched for USB printers via the PrintWayy Client. If all is well with the communication, the printer will be found and all you have to do is return to the printer menu to start monitoring it.

If no printer is found, there are a few steps you can take to test its operation:

  1. Disconnect the printer and change the USB port on the computer. Turn it back on and run the search;
  2. Disable the printer's bidirectional support and perform the search;
  3. Contact our support.
