Alerts associated with open calls

Active alerts can be associated with technical calls, so that they can be handled. When this association between the call and the alert is made, the alert still has the status of active, but is listed in the Alerts menu associated with open calls.

Associating an Active Alert to a Call

The idea here is to link the active alert to a new call, something that will require service from the technical team to resolve.

In the Active Alerts screen, simply single-click on the alert expansion menu and select the open call option.

If you are unsure whether or not to open the call for the alert, you can select details from the alert's expansion menu. Then review the alert's details. After reviewing, if necessary, in the alert details pane itself you will find the option to Open Call.

By choosing Open CallWhen the alert is opened, a screen for call details will open, with the selected alert already linked to the call, including the printer and the customer in question.

Viewing alerts associated with calls

After the call is opened, the alert will leave Active Alerts and will be viewable from the Alerts submenu associated with open calls.

Simply select the alert in question and click View Details or double-click.

When opening the alert detailsa sliding panel will appear, presenting the alert specifications, analysis, history and even allowing you to insert comments on that alert, just like in the Active Alerts.
