Launching counters manually is available for printers that are not being monitored by the PrintWayy Client or are not on other clients.
Adding a printer with manual counter entry to a client
On the Printers per customer screen, click on Add printer to customer. Select the desired printer and check the Manual registration option , with manual counter entries.
Adding counters to a printer
You can identify the printers that receive counters manually using the icon in the Situation column.
Select the printer and click Add counter or open the printer details and access the counters panel on the right.
Select the date of the counters and the counter values B&W, color and scans. The system displays the latest counters and their date as a reference.
If you are entering the counters to make the monthly closing, note that the closing uses the counters from the day before the start date of the next closing to make the calculations.
Example: The closing starts on the 15th and runs until the 14th of next month. In order for the entered counters to be included in the calculation for the current closing, the counters must be entered by the 14th of next month.
Editing counters
The counters follow the premise that they will always get bigger and bigger. To guarantee this premise, the edition of the counters has the following rules:
- You can only edit counters that have been posted in the last 30 days;
- You can only edit the last counter posted. To edit previous counters, you must delete the most recent counters.
- Counters in frozen closures cannot be edited. In this case, the closure must be unfrozen. After editing the counters, remember to freeze the closure again.
