Confirmed exchanges

The Confirmed Exchanges screen allows a detailed view of every part or supply exchange that has already taken place in the system, for any customer and on any printer.

Viewing the details of a Confirmed Exchange

To view the details of each confirmed exchange, we follow the same pattern as for the whole system! Select the exchange and click on "View Details" or double click on the required exchange:

Averages Calculations

Today with the data collected from the use of PrintWayy it is possible to report relevant data regarding the supply management of your entire fleet. Data such as Coverage per page, Efficiency and Printed pages.

Calculation of date for next exchange and estimated level

To calculate the next replacement date and the estimated supply level, PrintWayy needs to check that some conditions are met:

All these parameters are checked to perform the calculation, there are three ways to arrive at the level estimate and next change:

By default

Communication is active in the equipment where the supply is located and there is a history of changes of this supply in the equipment. When these parameters are met, the volume of printed pages at the equipment will be extracted since the equipment was inserted and compared with the average volume of printed pages in other periods of replacement of the same supply at the equipment.

If you have no history of the last exchange

With communication active in the equipment where the supply is, but without the history of changes of this supply in the equipment. When these parameters are met, the data of the volume of printed pages in the equipment will be extracted, since the equipment has been inserted until that moment, in this way they will be compared with the useful life of the supply.

In case of communication failure

If there was a communication failure with the equipment, but there is a history of supply usage. When this happens, the average time it takes to change this supply in the equipment will be used and compared with the time that the supply is currently in the equipment.

Page Coverage Calculation

The life of a supply is always calculated using 5% page coverage as a base. Thus the same percentage is used for the basis of calculation, i.e. the percentage of printed pages that is 5% of the supply's life.

Efficiency Calculation

The calculation of efficiency is simply the percentage of printed pages relative to the life of the supply.

Premature Exchanges

If you want any confirmed changes to be disregarded when calculating average supply usage, you can use the Confirmed Changes menu and indicate that they should be disregarded. This feature can be useful in cases where supplies are replaced prematurely due to some defect, such as supplies that have been in the printer for less time than normal, or have fewer pages printed than normal. If this type of change remains in the calculations of average consumption, it can end up affecting the estimates and forecasts of upcoming changes generated by PrintWayy, which are based on the average usage of each supply.

Supplies and Parts Timeline

Just as in the screen of Confirmed Exchanges it is possible to perform some actions related to Supplies Management in the tab Timeline of Supplies and Parts in Printers per Customer, such as: Do not use this exchange for the calculation of averages for this item, exclusion of the exchange and editing the observation:
